MERIDIAN — Lawrence B. “Billy” Coker Jr.

           

    Graveside services for Lawrence B. “Billy” Coker Jr. will be held today at 10 a.m. at Coker’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

    Mr. Coker, 87, of Meridian died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation Center in York, Ala.

    In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Coker’s Chapel Cemetery Fund, 3024 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian, MS 39301.

    A special thanks to the staff at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation in York, Ala. for their kindness and caring during Mr. Coker’s stay.

Robert Junior “R.J. Jenkins

    Services for Robert Junior “R.J.” Jenkins will be held today at 10 a.m. at Branch Church of God with Lester Pope officiating. Burial will be in Barrytown Cemetery with Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Jenkins, 78, of Gilbertown, Ala., died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at his residence.

         

Chalmers Green

    Services for Chalmers Green will be held today at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernell Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery in Kemper County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Green, 82, of Nanih Waiya, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

 

Infant Hayden Seth Joiner

 

    Services for Infant Hayden Seth Joiner will be held today at 12 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Chunky Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Baby Hayden, of Chunky, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at University Medical Center Wiser NICU.

     The family requests memorials be made to The March of Dimes.

    Visitation will be held Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Frances Addy Kating

 

    Graveside services for Frances Addy Kating will be held today at 2 p.m. at Stonewall Cemetery with Roger Burke officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Ms. Kating, 59, of Meridian, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

    She is survived by her best friend, Carolin K. Jackson; and her precious cats, Santana, Miss Girl, and Rue.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Reba Addy.
