Pauline Hicks Warren

MERIDIAN —     Services for Pauline Hicks Warren will be held today, at 3 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Warren, 87, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012. She was born on April 19, 1925, and was a long time resident of Meridian. She was a loving mother and caretaker, and an active member of Highland United Methodist Church. Mrs. Warren moved to Highland Home Nursing Center in Ridgeland in August 2008, where she resided for the remainder of her life.

    Survivors include her daughter, Julia L. McNair of Dallas, Texas; son, Paul Warren, his wife Amy, along with grandsons: Matt and Zach Warren, all of Madison; and granddaughter, Sonya Lynn McNair of Ozark, Mo.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus L. Warren; her parents, Paul E. and Lola Mae Hicks; brother, Edward Hicks; and, sisters: Pat Hicks Marosovich, and Kitty Hicks Emig.

    Mrs. Warren was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choice.

    The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Home for the care they gave Mrs. Warren during the past four years.
