Arlee Byrd Anthony


    Services for Arlee Byrd Anthony will be held today, at 2:30 p.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn with Robert Barham family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Ms. Anthony, 86, of the Russell Community, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at her residence.

    Survivors include a son, Ray Anthony and his wife Margie of Meridian; daughter, Geraldine A. Beasley and husband of Douglas, Ga.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and, seven great-great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Doc” Anthony; son, Y.L Anthony; sister, Hazel Talbert; and grandson, Johnathan Anthony.

    Visitation will be today, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
