MERIDIAN — Addine McWilliams


    Services for Addine McWilliams will be held today, Saturday, at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

    Mrs. McWilliams, 82, of Meridian died March 26, 2014, at her daughter’s home.

    The family requests memorials be made to the Annie Armstrong offering at First Baptist Church of Meridian.

Linda Kay Slaughter


    Graveside services for Linda Kay Slaughter will be held today, Saturday, at 11 Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Houston, Miss. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

    Ms. Slaughter, age 47, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014, in Meridian.

Johnnie James Kelly


    Services for Johnnie James Kelly will be held today, Saturday at 11 a.m. at Butler First Assembly with Rev. Donald Turner and Rev. Scottie Fulcher officiating. The eulogy will be given by Elisha Mayo. A military graveside will follow at Brightwater Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church two hours prior to the service. Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler will be in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Kelly, 90, of Needham, Ala., passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Specialty Hospital in Meridian. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Georgia McInnis Armistead


    Services for Georgia McInnis Armistead will be held today, Saturday, at 12 noon at Melvin United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Phillips Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Armistead, 81, of Melvin, Ala., died Friday, March 28, 2014, at her residence.

    Visitation will be held today, Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at the church.


Bobby Lee Hardy


    Services for Bobby Lee Hardy will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mack Alford officiating. Burial will follow in Coldwater Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Hardy, 78, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Atwood Personal Care Home in Philadelphia.

    Visitation will be held today, Saturday, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.


Hattie Mae Purvis


    Services for Hattie Mae Purvis will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Chapel in Milwaukee, Wis. Interment will be held Friday, April 4, 2014, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

    Mrs. Purvis, 82, of Meridian died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

    Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Leon L. Williamson Funeral Home and on Friday, April 4, 2014, from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Chapel.
