Billy Earl Devine

MERIDIAN —     UNION - Services for Billy Earl Devine will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m., at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with Bro. Edward Knowles officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.  

    Mr. Devine, 67, of Decatur, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at Rush Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He retired from logging. He enjoyed outdoors and outside.

    Survivors include his wife, Diane Devine of Decatur; one grandson, Dillion Devine of Hickory; two sisters: Kate Crocker of Conehatta, and Mary Wright of Decatur; two brothers: Buddy Devine of Little Rock, and Juria Devine of Quitman; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Devine; one brother, Johnny Smith; and one sister, Erma Reese.

    Pallbearers will be Lester Reed, Lamar Goss, Allen Moulds, Brent Chamblee, Charles Moulds and Wayne Griffin.

    Visitation will be today, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
