Willis M. Callaway

MERIDIAN —     MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A celebration of life service for Willis M. Callaway will be held Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Memphis Botanic Garden. Memorial Park Funeral Home of Memphis is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Callaway, 74, of Memphis, formerly of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away Friday, June 7, 2013. He retired from Pitman Company as a printing supply salesman. Willis was an Eagle Scout and loved gardening in his retirement.

    Survivors include his wife, Nadine Trantham Callaway; daughters: Amanda (Gus) Trupiano, and LeeAnne (Greg) Frazier; step-daughter, Trudy Fisher; step-son, William Trantham; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five step-grandchildren; and, three sisters.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mary Callaway of East Point, Ga.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Wings Cancer Foundation.
