Mabel Grace Harper

MERIDIAN —     Services for Mabel Grace Harper will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jessie Napp officiating. Burial will take place in the Rolling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Mabel Grace Harper, 92, of Quitman, passed away on March 9, 2014 at Lakeside Living Center.

    She was born on March 13, 1921 to Robert and Dooley Cooley in Lauderdale County.

    Survivors include her her sons, Tony (Keri) Harper and Herbert (Judy) Harper Jr.; sisters, Minnie Lee Stewart and Joyce Freeman; grandchildren, Michael Harper, Eric Harper, David Harper, and Kevin Harper; several great grandchildren and extended family members.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Harper Sr.; parents, Robert and Dooley Cooley and sister, Claudie Mae Hawkins.

    Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, at 6 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman.

    Pallbearers will be Michael Harper, Michael Bishop, Bo Hoyt, Phil Ray, Rufus Stewart, David Harper, Kevin Harper and Ricky Stewart.
