    Services for Eileen Marie Plunkett Bebensee will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m., at First Christian Church, with Dr. Tom Sikes and Rev. Lea McCracken officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Bebensee passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. She was born on Sept. 2, 1920, in Papillion, Neb., the daughter of Henry Harold Plunkett and Gladys Horn Plunkett. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church and a charter member of the Elizabeth Barnes Circle.  

    Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Bruce Max Bebensee, now residing in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; their son, Dr. Mark Alan Bebensee and his wife Mary Pounder Bebensee, and their children: Alan James Bebensee and Lorraine Marie Bebensee, all of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 1301 23rd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39301, or to Lutheran Hospice of South Carolina, 1885 Rifle Range Rd., Suite 46, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
