Ethel R. Roberts

MERIDIAN —     QUITMAN – Services for Ethel R. Roberts will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Pisguah Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jessie Griffin, Franklin McLelland, Leslie Roberts and Bob Ramsey officiating. Burial will be place in the Mt. Pisguah Cemetery in Melvin, Ala. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Ms. Roberts, 96, of Quitman, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Specialty Hospital in Meridian.  

      Survivors include her sons, Roy Roberts, Troy Roberts and Mark Anthony Roberts; daughters, Barbara N. Kemp and Betty Ann Long; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Eugene Roberts, and mother, Nancy P. Roberts.

    Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kemp, Donnie Kemp, Todd Kemp, Chad Roberts, Brian Roberts, Reid Smith and Wayne Roberts.

      Visitation will be two hours before services at the church.
