Lottie Combest Reynolds

MERIDIAN —     QUITMAN – Services for Lottie Combest Reynolds will be held today at 2 p.m. at Wesley Independent Methodist Church in Rose Hill, with the Rev. Chris Williams officiating. Burial will be in Twistwood Cemetery.

    Mrs. Reynolds, 97, of Rose Hill, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at her residence. Her family has been abundantly blessed by her life. The family would like to extend their appreciation to her caregivers, Ola Bender, Donna Bender, Mattie Martin and Quality Hospice.

    Survivors include her children, Jimmy and Frances Reynolds of Conway, Ariz., and George and Beth Brown of Rose Hill; grandchildren, Diana and Russ Caldwell of and Chris and Cristal Reynolds, all of Conway, Steven and Kristi Brown of Meridian and Stuart and Stephanie Brown of Rose Hill; great-grandchildren, Brittney and Kyle Irion of Johnson City, Tenn., Rachel Caldwell, Benjamin Caldwell, Brooke Caldwell and Lincoln Reynolds of Conway, Samuel and Sara Beth Brown of Rose Hill and Grace Brown of Meridian; sisters, Hazel Porter of Jasper, Ala. and Bessie Mae Sweda of Stuart, Fla.

    She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Reynolds; parents, George and Bessie Combest; sisters, Helen Davis and Verna Tennacour; and brothers, Billy Combest and Lewis Combest.

    In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Wesley Independent Methodist Church, P.O. Box 132, Rose Hill, MS 39356.

    Visitation will be held at the church at 1:30 p.m.
