Dave Cook

MERIDIAN —     Madison - Services for Jack David Cook will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in the chapel with burial afterward.

    Mr. Cook, 63, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Meridian  and lived in Madison. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and son. He worked 37 years for Layne Christensen Company. Dave loved to play golf and run. He was an avid BAMA fan. “Roll Tide!”

    Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Bev Cook; daughter, Ashley Cook; son, Jesse Cook and mother Joyce B. Cook.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Jack Cook.

    Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the First United Methodist Church of Canton.

    Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home and again on Thursday at 10 a.m.
