MERIDIAN — Gregory Harold "Greg" Smith

    PHILADELPHIA – Services for Gregory Harold “Greg” Smith will be held today at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Fred Britton officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Smith, 48, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, June 20, 2013.

Frances G. Havens


    Graveside services for Frances G. Havens will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Rhett G. Payne III officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Ms. Havens, 96, of Meridian, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Golden Living Center.

Jesse Brantley Ben

    Services for Jesse Brantley Ben will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Pearl River Baptist Church, with the Revs. Duane Reinhart and Glen Myers officiating. Burial will be in the Isaac Cemetery.

    Visitation began at noon Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the family home, 11801 Road 149.

Mary Lee Smith


    Graveside services for Mary Lee Smith will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Horel officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Ms. Smith, 59, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

     She is survived by her sister, Linda Houston of Meridian; niece, Tina Gray and her husband, Jeff, and their children, Turner and Reagan of Homewood, Ala.; aunts, Joyce Stodard and her husband, Elmer, of Madison and Dot Thompson and her husband, Ken, of Greencastle, Ind.; and cousins, Donna Partridge, Susan Jones and Michael Stodard of Madison, Tiffany Hebbs of Greencastle and Chris Anderson of Ocean Springs.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Mary Frances Smith.

     In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Humane Society, local animal shelter or the American Cancer Society.

    Visitation will be held Monday, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m., at the funeral home.
