Laroy Dean “Butch” Odom


    Services for Laroy Dean “Butch” Odom will be held today, Wednesday, at 11:30 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Odom, 61, of Meridian died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    Survivors include the mother of his children, Carolyn Odom; daughters, Felicia Odom Lightbourn, Jacqueline Odom and seven grandchildren; brother, Bobby Allen Odom, sister-in-law, Lana Odom; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Sue Ellen Platt Woodruff and dearest aunt, Sallie Platt.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Verna D. Odom and brother, Dr. Jerry David Odom.

    Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
