Dorothy Jean Northam

MERIDIAN —     Services for Dorothy Jean Northam will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Gary Blair officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

    Mrs. Northam, 83, of Meridian, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Bedford Care Center in Marion. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

    Survivors include her son, Rick Northam and wife Melinda of Meridian; siblings, Mavis Torrance, Mazola Clayton, Raymond Torrance and Dexter Torrance and wife Olean. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Northam; grandson, Elec Robert Northam; parents, Vester and Falbie Torrance; brothers, W. S. Torrance, Manzon Torrance and John Ray Torrance.

    Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
