James Howard Hearn

MERIDIAN —                 Graveside services for James Howard Hearn will be held today, Friday, at 1 p.m. at the McGowan's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating.

                Mr. Hearn, 66, of Quitman, passed away on Jan. 29, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. 

                He was born on March 23, 1947 to Julian and Lillie (Rolison) Hearn in Newton County. James is a United States Air Force Veteran serving in both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm.

                Survivors include his wife, Tommie Hearn; sons, James Brandon (Mae) Hearn and Matthew Ryan (Leah) Hearn; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mae Hearn and Noah Matthew Hearn; and sister, Bert Hearn.

                Pallbearers will be Sidney Hearn, Scottie Hearn, Marvin Hearn, Steve Waller, Paul Davis and Tommy Carter.
