R.L. Skinner

MERIDIAN —     UNION – Funeral services for R.L. Skinner will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Newton County.

    Mr. Skinner, 78, of Union, died Saturday June 14, 2014, at Neshoba General Hospital.

    Survivors include: three Sons: Danny Skinner and his wife, Teresa, of Hickory, Randy Skinner of Union and Michael Skinner of Union; two daughters: Cheryl Barnes and her husband, Bruce, of Ellisville, Patsy Chisolm and her husband, Paul, of Brandon; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillie F. Skinner of Union

    Mr. Skinner is preceded in death by his wife, Fredna Skinner; parents, Bert and Eillie Mae Skinner; a brother, J.W. Skinner; and a sister, Bertie Strickland.

    Pallbearers will be Joe Skinner, Mitch Lichfield, Vincent McElhenney, Jeremy Sullivan, Ollie Little and Nathan Daniels.

    Visitation will be Monday, from noon-2 p.m., at the funeral home.
