Emma Lee Hamrick

MERIDIAN —     Services for Emma Lee Hamrick will be held today, Saturday, at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Owen officiating. Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.

            Mrs. Hamrick, 85, of Quitman, died July 1, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was born on September 1, 1928 to James and Lelia Lewis in Rose Hill.

            Survivors include her daughter, Linda Diane (Willie J.) Green; grandchildren, Michael Milstead, Nicole Milstead, Daniel Milstead, and Christion Green; great-granddaughter, Jaylon Milstead, Payton Milstead, Daniel Milstead Jr. and Joby Milstead; sisters, Christine Owen of Enterprise, Sue (J. B.) Morris of Laurel, and brother, Preston (Mary Francis) Lewis of Rose Hill.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis H."PeeWee" Hamrick; parents, Lelia and James Henry Lewis Sr.; brothers, Carl Lewis, Leonard Lewis, James Lewis Jr. and Thomas Earl (Tommy) Lewis; sisters, Lelia Ruth Lewis, Martha Jane Welborn and Dorothy English.

            Visitation will be held today, Saturday, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman.
