Otis "Candy" Jemison

MERIDIAN —     A service of remembrance for Otis “Candy” Jemison will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Cuba, Ala., with Rev. Charles H. Delaine officiating. Mr. Jemison will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Interment follows in Cagus Cemetery, Cuba. Weatherly Funeral Home of York is in charge or arrangements.

    Mr. Jemison, age 76, of Cuba, died Jan. 9, 2014 at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation, York, Ala.

    Visitation will be held Friday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Weatherly Chapel.
