Maezell Anthony

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Maezell Anthony will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Little Hope Baptist Church, Toomsuba, with Rev. Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Anthony, 82, of Toomsuba, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at her residence.

    Survivors include four daughters: Tommie (Lemuel) Kelly of Oklahoma City, Okla., Carolyn Woods of Toomsuba, Kay (Mark) Bullion of Houston, Texas, and Angela Anthony of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons: Harold Anthony of Toomsuba, and Reginald (Angel) Anthony of Miami, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Annie (James) Wallace of Cleveland, Ohio; two stepsons: Gene (Claudette) Gaines of Atlanta, Ga., and Larry (Deborah) Rogers of Norfolk, Va.; three sisters: twin Arnell (Rev. E.J.) James of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Corine (William) Lofton of Freemont, Calif., and Marie Annett (Romeo) Parker of Richmond, Calif.; one brother, Eddie Lee Wallace of Los Angeles, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and, two great-great-grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Anthony; daughter, Charlotte Crawford; son, Howard Anthony; and, great-grandson, Lemuel Kelly IV.

    Visitation will be Friday, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
