Lillian Skinner Davis


    Services for Lillian Skinner Davis will be held Saturday, at 1 p.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Columbarium with the Rev. Brian Ponder officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Davis, 90, of Meridian, and formerly of Fairhope and Mobile, Ala., died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. Mrs. Davis will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

    Survivors include her brother, H.D. Skinner of Montrose, Ala.; daughter-in-law, Betty Davis of Daleville; son, Curt Davis and his wife Sharon of Meridian; son, Wyatt Davis and his wife Frances of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren: Micah Davis and his wife Sarah of Virginia, and Ian Davis of Meridian; and, two great-grandchildren: Micah and Sarah’s daughters, Koei and Kieran.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosier Davis; and her oldest son, Rosier N. Davis Jr.

    The family wishes to thank all of her friends who have shown love, compassion, and prayers during this time.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
