Maxine Shannon Sinclair


    Services for Maxine Shannon Sinclair will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

    Mrs. Sinclair, 90, of Meridian died Friday at Anderson Hospital.

    Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church where she was a member of the Charter Circle.  A former member of the Dalewood Garden Club and XYZ of Central United Methodist Church. She loved her family and everyone who met her she made an impression with her friendliness and happy outlook on life.

Survivors include a son: Fred Albert Strehle, III and wife Diane of Drew, daughter: Linda Sinclair Holloway and her husband Richard of Meridian, grandchildren:  Shannon McElroy, Rich Holloway, Dallas Strehle and Adam Strehle and his wife Suzanne; great grandchildren:  Kristen McElroy, John Clinton McElroy and Walt Strehle, a sister; Hilda Jo Stanford of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husbands:   Fred Albert Strehle, II and Bill Sinclair; parents Mac and Lillie Irene Burkes Shannon;  sisters:  Hazel Brown and Loray Cameron Davidson.

    The family requests memorials be made to First Christian Church of Meridian.

Pall Bearers will be:  Christopher Ryan Hern, Morgan Michael Hern, Dallas Strehle, Adam Strehle, Rich Holloway and John Clinton McElroy.

Visitation will be Monday from 11 am – 1pm at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
