Grace McDonald Goodman

QUITMAN —     Services for Grace McDonald Goodman will be held today, at 2 p.m., at Bucatunna Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Goodman and Dr. Gary Blair. Burial will be in Ford Memorial Gardens with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Goodman, 96, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Anderson Regional Hospital in Meridian.

    Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Goodman; son, Donald Goodman and wife Laura; daughter, Gail George and husband Tommy; grandchildren: Tanya Mayatt, Neil Goodman, Alana Harper, DeeAnn Donnelly, Jeff Felts and Lee Felts; great-grandchildren: Taylor Smith, Kennedy Smith, Autumn Mayatt, Hannah Goodman, Madalyn Goodman, Malory Goodman, Britt Harper, Brad Harper, Olivia Scarbrough and Hayden Donnelly; special friend, Zular Goodwin; and her pet, Mr. G.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Custer and Mary McDonald; sister, Ethel Mosley; brother, Horace McDonald; and grandson, Mark Goodman.

    Pallbearers will be Neil Goodman, Matt Mayatt, Leland Harper, Dan Donnelly, Britt Harper and Brad Harper.
