ELMWOOD PARK, Ill. – Memorial visitation for Donald Lewis Hogan will be held Thursday, at 4 p.m., until time of service at 7 p.m., at The Elms Funeral Home, 7600 W. Grand Avenue (North on 76th Avenue), Elmwood Park. Donald’s ashes will be laid to rest with his mother in Central City, Ky., officiated by “Brother” Rev. Sonny James. Mr. Hogan died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. He was a proud U.S. Veteran, having served under the Marine Corps, Navy Sea Bees, Air National Guard, and Army Reserves.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; children: Donna (Buddy) Godwin, Darren (Louise) Hogan, Deanna (Jimmy) Dial, and Dana (Greg) Taylor; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings: Joann (the late Robert) McPhearson, Jimmy, David, and Tony Hogan; godsons: Joseph, Danny and Alex Olan; and, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Hogan and Ruby (Melvin) McPhearson; and, siblings: Roy Hogan, and Peggy (Tim) Sweeton.
