MERIDIAN —     Graveside services for Tennie Lee Daly will be held at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Friday at 10 a.m. Mrs. Daly’s brother, Hubert Hill, will give the eulogy.  Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian will be in charge of the arrangements.

    Mrs. Daly, 78, of Meridian, passed away on July 22, 2013, at Anderson’s Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1934 in Maxwell, Tenn. to Hubert A. Hill and Ollie Mae Brown Hill Short Todd. She faithfully attended Westwood Baptist Church and the church’s College Park Apartment Ministry with Pastor Richie Davis and members of the Deborah Sunday School Class.

    Survivors include her children, son James Wooley and wife, Sylvia, of Quinton, Ala.; and her daughter, Patricia Miller, of Carmichael; seven grandchildren, her oldest granddaughter and best friend, Tracey Barrett, Savannah Wooley, Dixie Miller, Joseph Wooley, John Wooley, Matthew Wooley, and Christopher Wooley; four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; One uncle, Wilburn Hill, of Birmingham, AL; two sisters, her loving sister and caregiver, Nettie V. Brimble of Meridian, MS and Mary Lou Hill Petty of Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers, Hubert A. Hill and wife, Linda, James Wilburn Hill and wife, Brenda, and Don Hill and wife, Barbara, all of Nashville, Tenn.; step-brother, M.L. “Mike” Short and wife, Frances, of Glendale, Ariz.; also, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins all over the “Hills” of Tennessee.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Wooley; brother, Charles A. Hill; special aunt, Mildred Neal; and former husband, James Joe Wooley.

    The family requests no flowers.
