Grace Taylor

MERIDIAN —     Graveside services for Grace Taylor will be held at Enterprise Cemetery, Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Enterprise Cemetery, with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

         Mrs. Taylor, 97, passed away July 23, 2013 at Lakeside Living Center, Quitman. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

    Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Carter, and husband, Leon, of Quitman, grandchildren Brandon Carter of Columbus, Chad Carter and wife Rachael of Starkville, Elizabeth Simonis and husband Todd of Mount Pleasant, S. C., and great grandchildren Lila Carter, Annie Simonis, and Luke Simonis.

    She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Clarence Taylor, parents Nannie and Mallie Dearman; sisters, Maude Lee Gavin and Louise Dearman, and brother Morris Dearman.

    The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the caring and loving staff of Lakeside Living Center, with special thanks to Gloria Terrell for her loyalty and devotion.

    Visitation will be at Wright’s Funeral Home on Thursday at 10 a.m.
