William Artigue

MERIDIAN —     William "Catfish" Artigue, 54, of Stonewall, died on April 4 in Douala, Cameroon.  

     He was born on October 24, 1959 to Doris and Thelma Artigue in Opelousas, La.

      He is survived by his wife, Stacy Artigue; son, Matthew Kyle (Emily) Odom; daughters, Kelsey Artigue and Jordan Odom; father, Doris Artigue, mother, Thelma Artigue; and brothers, Edward Artigue and Allen Artigue.

    Visitation will be held Monday at 5 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Shoemaker and Rev. Terry Ivy officiating. Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
