Paul McConaughy


    Paul McConaughy of Collinsville, Mississippi, and Hopewell, New Jersey, died Wednesday evening, April 17, at Rush Medical Center in Meridian. He was 79 years old.

    Mr. McConaughy was born in Somerville, New Jersey, January 3, 1934, son of Harold and Miriam McConaughy. He was a  graduate of Ridgewood High School in New Jersey, Cornell University, and advanced study programs at Carnegie-Mellon Institute.

    He is survived by his wife, Wilda George McConaughy; daughter Paige McGaheran; two sons, Jon and Drew; son-in-law Patrick McGaheran, daughter-in-law Robin Cook McConaughy; five grandchildren, Jordan and Sarah Keyes, Brendan McGaheran, and Finn and Drew McConaughy; and two brothers, Daniel and David.

    A memorial service will be held at Prospect Methodist Church, Route 19 North, Collinsville, Mississippi, on Saturday, April 20, at 10:30 a.m.
