Jeremy Stephen Caton

MERIDIAN —     A private graveside service will be held for Jeremy Stephen Caton.

    Mr. Caton, 37, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at his residence.

    He was self employed as a computer programmer.

    Mr. Caton was very athletically minded, enjoying many outdoor activities including camping, biking and white water rafting. He was known as a scholar, having graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, a kind and gentle person who was a man of his word and exhibited high moral character. He loved and was very devoted to his family.

    Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Caton; brother Joel Caton and wife Jennifer; sister, Rebekah Stephens and husband Scott; nieces, Kaitlyn Stephens and Jolee Caton; nephews, Joshua Stephens, Gabriel Stephens, Daniel Caton, Jackson Caton; nine aunts and uncles and numerous friends.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Larry A. Caton.

    Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
