Joy Elaine Bringman

MERIDIAN — Memorial services for Joy Elaine Bringman, age 66, of Sumrall will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. in River of Life Church of Hattiesburg with Pastors Chris Camille, Mike Ewoldt and Ron Jones officiating.      

    Mrs. Bringman was a native of Chestertown, MD., graduate of Mississippi State University with a Masters  degree ,a member of River of Life Church, a member of CMA, a private school teacher for over 17 years, worked for Weems Mental Health and spent over six months as a Missionary to Haiti. She passed away at Specialty Hospital Wednesday, September 11, 2013.

    She is survived by her children Holly (Clif) Whitted of Petal, Marisha (Bo) Skipper of Daleville, Tabitha (Johnny) James of Lumberton, Lawrence Chance Jr. of Sumrall, David (Winni) Chance of Port St. John, Fla. and Matthew (Jeanine) Dillon of Sterling, Va. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and was expecting her first great grandchild in December. She leaves one brother David (Diana) Bringman and their three children. Joy wished to be cremated. Barham Funeral Home of Meridian in charge of arrangements.
