Carol Irby Nunn

MERIDIAN —

    RIDGELAND – Graveside services for Carol Irby Nunn will be held Wednesday, at 12 noon, at Jessamine Cemetery, Jessamine Drive, Ridgeland. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home of Ridgeland is in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Nunn, 57, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center. She graduated from Meridian High School and Meridian Community College and was employed as a respiratory tech for many years in Jackson, and later was self employed. She was a caregiver to many, and loved her dogs, Missy, Sandy, and Mr. Wilson. One of her favorite hobbies was entering car shows and attending cruise-ins with her husband in her Mini Cooper S.

    Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Mike Nunn of Jackson; sisters: Faith Irby Brown (Byron), and Tracey Irby Thompson; and her brother, Mike Irby (Donna), all of Meridian; and, 14 nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Oscar Irby and Virginia Irby.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CARA, 960 N. Flag Chapel Rd., Jackson, MS 39209.

    Visitation will be Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.
