QUITMAN - Services for Richard Mark Owen will be held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at Stonewall Assembly of God with Rev. Ed Shoemaker and Rev. Charles Waddell officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Owen, 44, of Enterprise, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Mark was a generous and loving husband, daddy, son, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him. He never hesitated to help someone in need. He loved children. Mark loved his nephews as if they were his own sons. As a wheeling sportsman, he enjoyed numerous land and water sports. For many years, Mark had a loyal border collie, Jake, that kept a watchful eye on these activities and many more. If Mark were to slow down too much, he had several loving lifelong friends to get him back up to speed. These friends include, but not limited to: Steve Dearman, Bryan Sisson, Danny Joe Jones, Gene and Alene Simpson, and the late Joe Burt.
Survivors include his wife, Dina Owen; sons: Alex McCraney and Jake McCraney; daughters: Lexie Lewis and Telea Hiatt; mother, Christine Owen; brothers: Kenenth Owen and wife Donna, and Joe Owen and wife Vickie; nephews: Jonathan Owen and Elliott Owen; and, great-nephews: Joseph Owen and Brandon Owen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray H. Owen; and nephew, Lance Owen.
Pallbearers will be Steve Dearman, Justin Dearman, Danny Joe Jones, Kelvin Hiatt, Gene Simpson and Terry Wayne Simpson.
Honorary pallbearers are Millard Earl Jones, Glen Pugh and Bryan Sisson.

Visitation will be today, after 5 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
