Jewel M. Brown

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Jewel M. Brown will be held Friday, at 1 p.m. Friday, at Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Collinsville Methodist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Brown, 89, of Collinsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    Survivors include her nephews: Gene Brown of Philadelphia, and Charles Brown and Clyde Brown, both of Collinsville; nieces: Linda Coker (John) of Corinth, and Ellen Menyard of Huntsville, Ala.; great-nephews: Gene Brown Jr. and John P. Brown; great-niece, Regina Gleber; and a special caregiver, Linda Dean.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Regina Mullinax; husband, Stennis P. Brown; son, Ronald S. Brown; one brother, John R. Mullinax; and, three sisters: Willine Brown, Delores Ward, and Christine Burt.

    Pallbearers will be Clyde Brown, Gene Brown, Gene Brown Jr., John P. Brown, John Coker, and Justin Walden

    Visitation will be today, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
