MERIDIAN — Robert Alexander Elrick

    Memorial services for Robert Alexander “Bob” Elrick will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Owens officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

    Elrick, 59, of Meridian, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW). He attended College Park United Methodist Church.

    Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Vera T. Cotting and Samuel Rivers; nieces: Stacey L. Williams and Patricia Goodin; great-nephews: Raymond B. Williams, Daniel R. Goodin and D. Russell Goodin; a great-niece, Victoria G. Goodin; and, several great-great nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ronda Thompson Elrick; and by his parents, Robert H. and Mary Elizabeth Elrick.

    In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions in memory be made to College Park UMC, the Jeff Anderson Cancer Center Patient Benevolence Fund, or the Mississippi Kidney Foundation.

    Visitation will be Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
