Dorothy Kidd Kersh

MERIDIAN — Services for Dorothy Kidd Kersh will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church, with Rev. Taylor  Wallace, Rev. Richard  Cauthern and Rev. Macon  Phillips officiating. Burial will take place in the Enterprise Cemetery. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

          Mrs. Kersh, 99, of Enterprise, passed away on September 2, 2013 at Wisteria Manor. She was a long life member of Enterprise Baptist Church. She was a member of WMU and Enterprise Woman's Club.

          She is survived by her sons, Dan Kersh and Andy (Karen) Kersh; granddaughters, Jennifer Kersh (John) Williams and Andi Katherine Kersh; great-granddaughter, Ella Jewel Williams; brother, B. R. (Jonie) Kidd and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

          She was preceded in death by her husband, B. P. Kersh, parents, W. O. and Jewel Kidd; sister, Eleanor Johnson; brothers, Otho Kidd, Oscar Kidd and Peyton Kidd.

          Visitation will be held today, Thursday, at  5 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home and Friday at 10 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church.
          Pallbearers will be Wayne Kidd, Randy Kidd, Mark Kidd, Bill Johnson, Larry Johnson and Kevin Parker.
