Doris Evelyn Hatch Mears
Services for Doris Evelyn Hatch Mears will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh McCrary officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mears, 84, of Meridian died Saturday at home.
Doris Evelyn Hatch Mears was born on February 12, 1929. She awoke the morning of August 24, 2013, to have breakfast with the love of her life, Arnold Jack Mears, to begin to celebrate their sixty-seventh wedding anniversary and took her last breath by his side.
Doris led a Christian life, always taking time for her loved ones, and leaves a legacy of grace and class unmatched. After winning two battles against breast cancer, Doris remained a beacon of quiet strength and bravery to all those who met her. The love she has instilled in her children and grandchildren will live on in her honor.
She is survived by the love of her life, Arnold Jack Mears, and her three beloved children, Ronald Mears (Nancy Mears), of Jackson; Brenda Mears Smith (Ron Smith) of Meridian; and Robert Mears of Meridian. She is also survived by five grandchildren Bill Mears, Rhonda Smith Kavan ( Brad Kavan), Steve Mears ( Elizabeth Mears), Laura Smith ( Aaron Smith), and Amanda Gail Smith, as well as four greatgrandchildren.

Morris Lavon Hughes
Services for Morris Lavon Hughes will be held Monday at 11 a.m at Robert Barham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jack Giles and Chris Vowell officiating. Burial will be in Old Marion Cemetery.
Mr. Hughes, 64, of Meridian died Saturday at his home.
Mr. Hughes was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. Mr. Hughes loved to read his Bible and watch westerns.
Survivors include sons Daniel Hughes, Douglas Hughes, daughter, Deborah Hughes all of Columbus; mother Ella Hughes Spence of Meridian; sisters Evelyn Wilkerson, Retha Moulds and Diane Harris; brothers: Jerry Hughes and David Hughes all of Meridian, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Morris Quenvy Hughes and his brother Billy Hughes.
Pallbearers will be; Danny Rainer, Wayne Booker, Randy Wilkerson, Robert Harris, Jr., Erron Davidson and Charles Robinson. Joe Garrett will be an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held today, 5-7 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
Anita Carmella Case
Anita Carmella Case, 66, of Enterprise, passed away on Friday at her home in Enterprise.
She was born on March 4, 1947 to John and Flora Rocco in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Case, her daughter, Jean Skrunk, her brother, John Rocco, and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Birdie L. Shirley
Funeral services for Mrs. Birdie L. Shirley will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Seller and the Rev. Carl Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shirley, age 105, of Meridian, passed away Saturday at the Oaks Rehabilitation Center. She was retired from May Webb Hosiery Mill and East Mississippi State Hospital.
She is survived by her several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dora Threatt; and her husband Steve Shirley.

Mrs. Lee, age 57, of Meridian, passed away on Friday at Rush Hospital.
She is survived by her two daughters, Terri Roberts (Micky) and Sherry Thompson both of Meridian; son, Gerry Lee of Deland, Fla.; husband, George Ivy of Meridian; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Ricky and Roger Lee; and her sister, Jody Richardson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Otha Ethridge and Helen Stephens.

Robert J. 'Bob' Kozman
Graveside services for Robert J. “Bob” Kozman will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Frankie Boyette officiating. Burial will be in Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kozman, 75, of Meridian died Friday at his home.
He was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church and was a retired boilermaker. Mr. Kozman was a member of Boilermakers Union # 105 of Piketon, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Tommie Carolyn Kozman of Meridian; daughter, Jo Carol Livingston and her husband Mack of Meridian; grandchildren, Robert Livingston and Sara Livingston; brother, Anthony Kozman and his wife Evelyn of Middlebury, Ind.
