Doris Lynette Richardson Crawford

MERIDIAN —

    Services for Doris Lynette Richardson Crawford will be held Friday, at 2 p.m., at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church in DeKalb with Dr. Owen Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Rush Cemetery in Kemper County with Stephens Funeral Home of Meridian in charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Crawford, 79, of Pascagoula, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Plaza Community Living Center in Pascagoula. She was a native of Kemper County, a member of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula, Rev. Jim Fisher pastor and a retired educator.

    Survivors include a son, Franklin Crawford; sister, Eunice Ellis and husband Rayford of Laurel; nieces: Jane Richardson, Donna Haggerty of Pascagoula, Robin Lynn Burr, Debra Lynette Jefcoat and husband Wayne of Soso and Brenda Montgomery of Birmingham, Ala.; and, nephews: Charles Ellis of Laurel, and Howard Junior Richardson of Alaska.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Octavia Richardson; and, brothers: Franklin D. Richardson, Howard C. Richardson and Elmer Louis Richardson.

    Pallbearers will be Ted Waddell, Robert Smith, Wayne (Red) Jefcoat and Larry Gibson.

    Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the church.
