Imogene Rich Keller

MERIDIAN —     Services for Imogene Rich Keller will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Eddie Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

    Mrs. Keller 85, of Meridian died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at her residence. She was very devoted to her family and her church, Suqualena United Methodist Church and to the Suqualena Community. Mrs. Keller was a nurse at Anderson Regional Medical Center and several nursing homes over the years. She was an avid animal lover and would take in any animal that needed a loving home. She loved gardening and would share the fruits of her labor with family and friends.

    Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Guthrie and her husband George of Gulfport; three sons, Larry Keller, Fred Keller and his wife Linda  and Robert Keller and his wife Opal, all of the Suqualena Community; grandchildren, Joe Guthrie and wife Desti, Paula Hefley and her husband Chad, Paul Keller, Lara Sparks and her husband Jason, Jacob Keller and his wife Stacy, John Keller and his wife Angela; twelve great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Margaret Keller Collinsville and  Margie Castle and her husband Billy of Collinsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Keller; parents, Preston and Julia Rich; two great-granddaughters, Katie and Carrie Keller.

    The family requests memorials be made to the Suqualena United Methodist Church.

    Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
