Louella Kennedy


    Services for Louella Kennedy will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at 3 p.m., at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

    Louella, 93, of Quitman, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Lakeside Living Center. She was born on Aug. 1, 1920, to Jeff and Ila Smith in Clarke County, Miss.

    Survivors include her son, James Marvin Kennedy, Jr.; daughters, Jacqueline Kennedy Newby, Marlene (Molly) Daugherty and Linda Rung; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marvin Kennedy; granddaughter, Janna LeAnn Pearson; parents, Jeff Smith and Ila Smith; four sisters and two brothers.

    Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, from 2 p.m.-3 p.m., at Wright’s Funeral Home.
