DEKALB — Graveside services for John F. Lang will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery with the Rev. J.C. Burkes officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lang, 93, of DeKalb, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Mississippi Care Center in DeKalb. He was a retired city of DeKalb Security Officer.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Elizabeth Lang.
Visitation will be today from noon until service time at the funeral home in DeKalb.
Martha Elizabeth Rogers Skelton
Services for Martha Elizabeth Rogers Skelton will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Skelton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Skelton, 97, of Meridian, died , Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Guardian Angel Healthcare Center. She was a member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Glenda Valerie Wondrick of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; sons, Roger Page Skelton of California and Glen Pylet Skelton of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; a step-son, Glen Richard Skelton of Ocean Springs; a step-daughter, Marguerite Weston of California; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Pilot Rogers and Jefferson Rogers and her husband, Glen P. Skelton.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Roosevelt Brown

Services for Roosevelt Brown will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church in Shubuta with the Rev. Lorenzo Carter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brown, 81, of Shubuta, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Drucilla Brown.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Quitman.
Bonnie L. Moore
Services for Bonnie L. Moore will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Read officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore, 83, of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She attended Lost Gap Independent Protestant Church.
Survivors include her children, Gene R. Moore, Garry C. Moore, Lana Turnage and her husband, David, all of the Meehan Community, Kenny Moore and his wife, Linda, of Toomsuba; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Bernice Garrison of Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Moore; parents, Walter and Laura Garrison and a son, James Kyron Moore.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Moore, Scott Turnage, Mark Vick, Tyler Vick, Mike Moore, Cody Butler, and Sterling Turnage.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Burton, Leland Moore and Don Wilson.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

HATTIESBURG — Services for Mamie B. Dement will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Main Street United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian at 3 p.m. Hulett Winstead Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dement, 95, of Hattiesburg, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Alden Pointe in Hattiesburg. She was retired from Hattiesburg Clinic. She was a member of West Lake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Frank E. Dement III of Hattiesburg; a daughter, Emmie Dement Carmichael of Brandon; a brother, Alva L. Brothers Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Frank E. Dement Jr.
Memorials may be made to Wesley Manor Hattiesburg Facility.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
Minnie Pearl Jordan

Services for Minnie Pearl Jordan will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at New Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Nicholson officiating. Burial will be in Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Meehan. E.E. McDonald Community Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jordan, 83, of Sandusky, Ohio, formerly of Meridian, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, in Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the community chapel in Meridian.
