Julia Eleze Walker
Services for Julia Eleze Walker will be held today at 3 p.m. at Collinsville First Baptist Church with the Revs. Hal Bates, David Sellers and Chris Cooksey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walker, 97, of Collinsville, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, in her home. She was a charter member of Collinsville First Baptist Church. Her hobbies included her flowers.
Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Miller of Meridian; a son-in-law, J.P. Dean of Stonewall; granddaughters, Linda Mena and her husband, Olgene, of Stonewall, Tammy White and her husband, Shannon, of Petal and Terri Stewart and her husband, Mark, of Collinsville; great-grandchildren, Lauren Agent of Collinsville, Presley White of Petal and Jonathan Mena of Stonewall and a sister, Mable Moran of Taylorsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Carrie Harwell; her husband, Ray Walker, an infant son; a daughter, Doris Dean; great-grandchildren, Deanna Mena, and Miller White; brothers, J.D. Jones, Bill Harwell, Shorty Harwell, Dick Harwell and George Harwell and a son-in-law, Gary Miller.
Memorials may be made to Collinsville First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Harwell, Larry Harwell, Jerry Harwell, Tommy Moran, Jerry Walker, and Shannon White. Honorary pallbearer will be Darrell Harwell.
Bryant Lee Mundy
BUTLER, Ala. — Graveside services for Bryant Lee Mundy will be held today at 3 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Russell Wray officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mundy, 78, of Butler, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, June Jenkins Mundy of Butler; a son, Steve Mundy of Jachin; two daughters, Dianne Mosley of York, and Donna Clark of Jachin; and three grandchildren, Ricky Mundy, Lindsey Clark and Jason Wainright.
Sarah Ella Russell Hegwood
JACKSON — Services for Sarah Ella Russell Hegwood will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Lakewood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A longtime resident of Jackson, Mrs. Hegwood, 90, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007. She was a member of Van Winkle Baptist Church in Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Abigail White Russell and Alfred Fontz Russell; a brother, Alfred Russell; and sisters, Gladys Coleman and Mildred Alexander.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd G. Hegwood; sons, Lloyd Warren Hegwood and his wife, Ann, of Ocean Springs and Phillip Glen Hegwood and his wife, Pam, of Byram; a daughter, Sarah Frances McKee and her husband, Kreth, of Collierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Scott McKee and his wife, Jamie of Moscow, Tenn., Andrea Lee Adair and her husband, Gerry, of Versailles, Ky., Arlan McKee and his wife, Stephanie, of Collierville, Tenn., Andrew Hegwood of Sanford, N.C., Kevin McKee and his wife, Nicole, of Seagrove, Fla., Brooke Ormon and her husband, Brad, and Regan Childers and her husband, Eli, all of Byram; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 505 N. Parkway, Memphis, TN 38105.

MACON — Services for Gilbert J. Jolly will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Brooksville United Methodist Church in Brooksville. Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home, Inc., of Macon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jolly, 83, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy H. Jolly of Brooksville; two sons, Jeffery Jolly of Mobile, Ala., and Lynn “Homer” Jolly of Pensacola, Fla.
Visitation will be held today at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evelyn B. Scarbrough
Services for Evelyn B. Scarbrough will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Coker’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarbrough, 77, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Barbara Pilgrim Young
PHILADELPHIA — Services for Barbara Pilgrim Young will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Church in Noxapater with the Revs. Fred Frazier Jr., and Bobby Lowrey officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Young, 51, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007.
Visitation will be today beginning at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Donald Robinson
Services for Donald Robinson will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Rose Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Washington McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Musgrove Cemetery with Berry & Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robinson, 37, of Shubuta, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, in his home. He was employed with McKenzie Construction.
Mary Alice Gill Dement
Graveside services for Mary Alice Gill Dement will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Davis officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dement, 93, of Cary, N.C., died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 in Cary.
Survivors include a daughter, Sallie Anne Kittle, three granddaughters, Marianna Burdette, Maggie Osburn, Elizabeth Heyde, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Dement.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hope Village for Children, or Love’s Kitchen.
