Edwin Clark Daniels

    Services for Edwin Clark Daniels will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in the Zero Community.

    Mr. Daniels, 90, of the Zero Community, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his residence.

    Mr. Daniels was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II. He retired as a telephone pioneer with BellSouth after 35 years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church and the VFW Post 79. He loved fishing, farming, and spending time with his family.

    Survivors include his sons, Danny Daniels (Joyce), Randy Daniels, and Greg Daniels (Heather); grandchildren, Jim Daniels, David Daniels (Heather), Sarah Vercher (Rob), Peggy Taylor (James), Donald Addy, and Duran Addy; and great grandchildren, Drew Daniels and Alexander Irby.

    He was preceded in death by his wife, Clemmie Griffin Daniels; parents, Jim and Necie Daniels; grandson, Gerald Addy; brothers, Hubert Daniels and Warren Daniels; sister-in-law, Lula Daniels.

    Visitation will be held today, Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
