Trio nabbed in kidnap, robbery of man

VICKSBURG, Miss. —

Prosecutors say the case of three people accused of kidnapping and robbing a 76-year-old Vicksburg man will be presented to the next Warren County grand jury.

District Attorney Ricky Smith tells the Vicksburg Post that the case needs some more work so it was ready when a grand jury met in January.

Lance Burton, Kodey Goulette and Misty Lee are each charged with armed robbery and kidnapping.

The Vicksburg man was robbed man at gunpoint last September in the parking lot between Rainbow Casino and AmeriHost Inn, both are now owned by Lady Luck.

Police say the man was robbed of $190 and was forced to drive to an ATM and withdraw $250. The man was released at a convenience store and reported the incident to police.
