Woman arrested in Tupelo fatal shooting

TUPELO, Miss. — A 27-year-old Tupelo woman has been charged with murder in a fatal shooting.

Tupelo Police Lt. Jerry Davis says Latosha Isby allegedly shot an unidentified man Tuesday after an argument started among family members at their residence. The man later died at a Tupelo hospital. His name has not been released.

Davis says police aren't releasing any more information due to the ongoing investigation.

He says Tupelo police officers found Isby at a Tupelo apartment complex soon after the shooting.

Isby was being held in the Lee County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

It was unclear whether Isby has an attorney.
