Search continues for Biloxi kayaker

OCEAN SPRINGS —

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) — Crews continue to search for a Biloxi kayaker whose father's body was found Thursday off Marsh Island.

Sheriff Mike Byrd tells WLOX-TV (http://bit.ly/Y7ZyLP ) that cadaver dogs picked up a scent on Sunday in the same general area of marsh, but wind made it hard for them to get an exact fix.

They're searching for 22-year-old Nick Rainer, whose father's funeral was Sunday in Lauderdale County. An autopsy found that Ken Rainer had drowned.

The search began Wednesday, when a shrimper found their kayaks adrift. They'd gone on a fishing trip earlier that day.
