Leader of prostitution ring pleads guilty

BILOXI, Miss. —

An Atlantic City man will be sentenced Nov. 1 after pleading guilty to a conspiracy to run a Korean prostitution ring in Mississippi by harboring women who were in the United States without authorization.

Federal court documents show 52-year-old Chi Sung Jung pleaded guilty in July 26 in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey to one count of bringing in and harboring aliens.

Jung has been held without bond in New Jersey since February.

Jung faces up to 10 years in prison. He also faces deportation if found to be living in the U.S. without authorization.

Authorities say Jung was involved in a multi-state prostitution ring based in Atlantic City and operated in house in Biloxi. Jung paid expenses for the house and transporting the women.
