4-year-old airlifted to hospital after head-on car collision in Hurley


HURLEY (AP) — A head-on collision on Mississippi 614 has resulted in six people being transported to the hospital and a 4-year-old being airlifted from the scene. (Gareth Clary/ HURLEY, Mississippi - A 4-year-old has been airlifted to USA Women's and Children's Hospital in Mobile after a head-on collision between a Dodge truck and Toyota Camry tonight on Mississippi 614, according to authorities on the scene.Six others involved in the accident, which occurred at about 9:20 p.m. in front of Sassy's Restaurant, have been transported to Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, according to authorities.The Camry ended up in the ditch on the southside of the highway.
