Cars reported vandalized in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. —

Police say three dozen cars were vandalized Saturday night throughout Gulfport.

Capt. Craig Peterson tells The Sun Herald police received reports of 19 vehicles damaged in the area south of Interstate 10, mostly in west and central Gulfport.

He says 13 others were damaged north of the interstate in Orange Grove.

Peterson says police believe most of the damage was caused by a pellet gun.

He says officers don't have any suspects.
