Leader of prostitution ring agrees to plead guilty

BILOXI, Miss. — An Atlantic City man has agreed to plead guilty to a conspiracy to run a Korean prostitution ring in Mississippi by harboring women who were in the United States without authorization.

The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/11CL7HY ) federal court documents show 52-year-old Chi Sung Jung also has asked to be prosecuted in New Jersey on charges of sex trafficking and immigration violations. A date for his plea hearing has not been set.

Jung has been held without bond in New Jersey since February. His request to transfer the case to a federal court in New Jersey was filed in court records Monday.

Homeland Security Investigations officials said agents linked Jung to a multi-state prostitution ring based in Atlantic City after Biloxi police conducted a sting operation Sept. 30.
