Hancock Co. most wanted suspect arrested

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. —

The Hancock County narcotics unit made 13 arrests on Valentine's Day in a drug roundup of people accused of selling drugs to undercover officers

Sheriff Ricky Adam tells The Sun Herald the roundup, dubbed Operation Broken Heart, started early Thursday after a six-week investigation.

Adam says narcotics officers had arrest warrants for 14 people and had arrested 13 of them by late afternoon. They arrested two others on drug-possession charges, and found a woman listed in an ongoing Sun Herald series as one of South Mississippi's most-wanted criminal suspects.

The sheriff says 34-year-old Kelly Galloway, of Bay St. Louis, had been wanted on a warrant since a drug roundup Aug. 1. She was sought on a charge of sale of crack cocaine.
