Skunks removed from Corinth arena

CORINTH —

CORINTH, Miss. (AP) — Ozzy Hendrix has taken care of a stinky situation at the Crossroads Arena in Corinth.

Six skunks had invaded the multi-purpose facility this week before being lured from the premises Wednesday afternoon by Hendrix, a local trapper.

Hendrix tells the Daily Corinthian (http://bit.ly/1e52h4k ) that the skunks found a way into the building and were located in a six-foot cavity of a wall.

Hendrix says after he found them the skunks walked right in the cage he had ready.

The smelly varmints were taken care of just in time.

The arena is to host the Alcorn County Basketball Tournament beginning Thursday night and continuing through Saturday.
